Sub category premium
Jay Parmar
Hi Elurym,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your valuable suggestion.
We wanted to give you some context on this area of the product: we actually did have a Premium subcategory feature implemented previously, which worked alongside Premium categories and allowed for making any content premium or non-premium.
However, the addition of this functionality introduced significant technical complexity. It heavily complicated the underlying logic for all quizzes and led to much more complex database queries. While we recognize these issues could have been resolved, we had deep concerns about whether this architecture would be truly performant and optimal for users as the app continues to grow.
Based on that analysis, we made the decision to remove the premium functionality from the subcategory to maintain a reliable user experience.
We promise to look into this feature again in the future and reconsider its implementation.
Thanks again for your feedback!
