min sdk? app seems not working on old devices

what is min sdk, since app seems not working on old android versions, i tried now sdk 24, got error:
I/flutter ( 4252): Error initializing app: 122
sdk 25 worked tho

minium sdk version is 23, it should work out of box. please check if all the softwares and configuration are according to the documentation.
